Team Acrux takes its name from the brilliant Acrux Star — the shining point of the Southern Cross constellation — symbolizing our vision to reach new heights together.
Formed in 2022, our team is a diverse mix of passionate engineering students united by a love for racing, innovation, and mechanical creativity. Over the years, we’ve grown from hopeful entrants into serious contenders, culminating in our most exciting chapter yet — competing in the Morphine Motorsport Series (MMS) 2025, hosted at the Raftaar Go-Karting Track, Pune.
Our latest kart was the product of months of relentless design, fabrication, and teamwork. It was more than a machine — it was a reflection of our growth as engineers and as a team.
Our inspiration to participate in MMS went beyond the thrill of competition. We were drawn to MMS because it isn’t just a racing event — it’s an ecosystem that values learning, innovation, and mutual respect.
We wanted to test ourselves against the best, but more importantly, to test our potential as student engineers. The event’s professional structure, clear communication, and fair evaluation process set it apart from other collegiate racing competitions.
At MMS, we didn’t just compete — we learned, collaborated, and grew. Every interaction with judges and organizers taught us something valuable about engineering practices, teamwork, and race discipline.
